Display of text
Set up the text to be displayed and the conversation window.
The text is entered directly in the [Event Editor Execution Details] field.
【Character】
Specify the character to talk to. Select either "character" or "image. If neither is selected, only text will be displayed. The character can be selected from the characters registered under "Character" > "Actor" or "NPC". The image and name will be used from the pre-registered ones.
【Image】
If you select an image, you can specify the face, picture, and name. This is not required, so please specify and set according to the game you are creating.
Face
This is the designation of the face icon that will appear in the conversation window.
Select Image | Select from images already imported. |
Import | If you want to load image data from outside RPG Maker UNITE, specify the file in Import. |
Picture
This is the designation of the picture, etc. that will be displayed at the top of the conversation window.

Character name
Character name setting.
【Show Name】
Specifies whether the name is displayed in the conversation window.
【Show face】
Specifies whether the face icon is displayed in the conversation window. Even if a character or image is specified, it will not be displayed if this setting is set to "Do not".
【Displaying Pictures】
Specifies whether a picture is displayed at the top of the conversation window. Even if you specify a character or a picture, it will not be displayed if this setting is set to "Do not".
【Background】
Specifies the background in the conversation window. Choose from [Window], [Darken], or [Transparent]. When [Window] is selected, the background specified in the "Preferences" and "UI Settings" will be displayed.
【Window position】
Specify the position of the conversation window. Select from [Initial Settings], [Top], [Middle], or [Bottom]. When [Initial Settings] is selected, the window will be displayed at the position specified in "Initial Settings" and "UI Settings".
【Preview button】
Click the Preview button to see the text you have entered and the conversation window you have set up in the scene view.

【Number of choices】
Specify the number of choices. The input range is 1 to 6.
【Background】
Specifies the background within the selection window. Select from [Window], [Darken], and [Transparent].
【Window Position】
Specifies the position of the choice window. Select from [Default][Top][Middle][Bottom].
【Default】
Specify the number of the choice where the cursor will appear when the choice is displayed.
【Cancel】
Sets the process when Cancel is clicked. [Branch] is the setting for branch processing when cancel is clicked. [Prohibit]: Cancel is prohibited. [Choice number] is the number of the choice that corresponds to the cancellation.
Processing of numerical input
【Variable】
Specify the variable to be processed.
【Number of digits】
Specifies the number of digits to be entered by the player.
Item Selection Process
【Variable】
Specify the variable in which the selected item information is stored.
【Item Type】
Select from [Normal Item][Important Item][Hidden Item A][Hidden Item B]. Items of the selected type will appear in the selection window.
Scroll through sentences
【Speed】
Specifies the scrolling speed. The input range is 1-8.
【Fast Forward】
Disables the scroll forward function while the "DECIDE" button is pressed.
【Preview Button】
Click the Preview button to see the scrolling of the text you have entered in the scene view.
