Edit Types
[Element]
Create, edit, and delete elements. These can be applied to a range of things including actors, classes, enemies, etc., but they must be registered here first. Each element's strengths and weaknesses in relation to other elements are also defined here.
Basic Settings
Name
Enter the name of the element.
Icon
Set the element's icon.
Select Image Button | Choose from images that have already been imported. | |
Import | If you wish to use an image from outside RPG Maker Unite, you can select a file and import it. |
Strengths/Weaknesses
Setting the strengths and weaknesses here removes the need to define the effects of elemental damage for individual attacks.
Strong Against
Set which elements this element is strong against.
Add Strength Button
Add another slot for a strength.
Strong Against
Select Element | Set the element of the opponent. |
Strength Modifier | Specifies the percentage of damage when attacked by the specified attribute. The input range is 100-0%. |
Delete Button
Delete the strength.
Weak Against
Set which elements this element is weak against.
Add Weakness Button
Add another slot for a weakness.
Weak Against
Select Element | Set the element of the opponent. |
Weakness Modifier | Specifies the percentage of damage when attacked by the specified attribute. The input range is 100-200%. |
Delete Button
Delete the weakness.
[Skill Type]
Create, edit, and delete skill types, which are required to be set for all skills. Apart from the standard magic and special types, it's also possible to add more in order to break magic down into finer categories or create skills with different attributes than the current magic and special ones. The option for turning cast animations ON/OFF in SV battles is also set here.
Basic Settings
Name
Enter a name for the skill type.
SV Settings
Cast Animation Set whether an actor's cast animation will play when they use a skill of this type in a side view battle.
[Weapon Type]
Create, edit, and delete weapon types, which are required to be set for all weapons and determine which weapons an actor can equip. Animations and images for use in SV battles are also set here.

Enter a name for the weapon type.
SV Settings
Attack Animation
Set the animation for the actor that plays when they use a weapon of this type in a side view battle. Choose between "Thrust", "Swing", and "Projectile".
Weapon Image
Set the animation for a weapon of this type that plays when it's used in a side view battle.
[Armor Type]
Create, edit, and delete armor types, which are required to be set for all armor and determine which armor an actor can equip. They describe the characteristics of the armor, such as heavy, light, or magic.

Name
Enter a name for the armor type.
[Equipment Type]
Create, edit, and delete equipment types, which determine the different parts of the body that weapons and armor can be equipped to. This includes types such as head, shield, and body.
