Overlay tiles of type A.
Hello. This is a question and a suggestion for the future. In RPG Maker Unite there are only 4 layers for each type of tile. However, tiles A have as many as 5 varieties. But this is not the only thing. The thing is that in one group of tiles A there are tiles that are supposed to be superimposed on others. For example, auto tiles of the ground and auto tiles of mountains that need to be drawn on the ground. But I understand that it is impossible to superimpose different tiles on one layer. To do this, you need to select another layer and, for example, occupy layer B for mountain tiles of type A, which is extremely wasteful. So the question is why do you have such strict restrictions on layers? Of course, Parallax Mapping has appeared, but it is extremely bad to force people to draw the earth with a background image. Otherwise, 4 layers on Mapping are extremely, extremely few. Ideally, you need to remove the restrictions on layers or give the ability to add your own layers.

I'm not certain why the design choice was made. It seems they were following after the latest MZ, but focusing on the 4 layers instead of the auto layer option.
Ultimately I think it is a good request to be able to have more layers in a map and can be passed along.

I didn't quite figure out where you can offer ideas on functionality for Unite. In MZ - yes, exactly the same, but it's easier there. You can draw on the auto layer. That is, there MZ itself selected layers for distribution. Here, you have to do it all manually.

I thought the MZ community pushed for a layer system option (similar to Unite) that was later added to MZ. Maybe they thought that was more preferred and implemented just that option with Unite.
